&lt;p&gt;Today for dinner I made a spiced brown rice, which had spices like cardamom, cloves, peppercorns and safflower in it. The sautéed Tofu dish was spiced with Bragg&#039;s Amino Liquid, hot chili sauce, nutritional yeast and had steamed broccoli, sautéed onions and fresh pressed garlic mixed into it. Along side I steamed artichokes.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>What to cook today?</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Today we have our oldest son with his girlfriend over for dinner. Besides  looking forward to spending time with them I am excited about eating a nice meal. Sitting at the dinner table is something we enjoy the most. Talking, eating and sitting and talking some more is such a joy and makes us feel connected to each other. And when the food is delicious, even the better.&lt;br /&gt;
First I will serve a mixed salad with a balsamic olive oil dressing. A side note to mixed salad: I am a bit obsessed with vegetables. My mixed salads have ten different vegetables in it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This dinner was so good and satisfying: Roasted new potatoes with garlic, baked mushroom medley with rosemary and garlic, radishes halved, topped with a hint of butter and Himalayan pink salt, steamed radish greens with lemon juice, steamed corn coated with olive oil, and avocado halves with lemon juice.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And for dessert: fresh strawberries quartered mixed with lemon juice, creme fraîche and home made vanilla sugar.&lt;br /&gt;
Yummy!&lt;/p&gt;
